Why Is Jesus The Only Biblical Figure With A Last Name? ISRAEL - Scholars have been meeting in Israel this week to ask why is Jesus the only Biblical figure that has a last name. The conference started with the famed scholar 'Optus Net' submitting what he thinks is the definitive list of Biblical figures who do not have a last name. The list includes Noah, Judas, Paul, John, Abraham, Herrod and Moses. The conference will be on for the next three weeks and all submissions from the public are welcomed and can be sent to Mr. Net via his email (optusnet@bigpond.com) and he will pass it on to the committee. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- USA - 4th July in the USA commemorates the War of Independence when the country was freed from British rule.
